Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Epic Project Manager for an impactful contract position. This role involves leading a full-cycle migration from Cerner to Epic within the Integrated Kidney Care business unit. The primary focus is to drive project phases effectively, ensuring the timeline aligns with the go-live target of April 2027. Exceptional critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills are essential for this high-urgency role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive discovery work and prepare teams for the August build phase.
- Manage cross-functional workstreams involving developers, Epic analysts, and internal Master Data Management (MDM) teams.
- Proactively identify risks and ask the right questions to keep the timeline on track for the April 2027 go-live.
Qualifications
- Epic Migration Experience: Proven track record of managing a full-cycle, large-scale migration from Cerner to Epic.
- Experience in Agile environments, specifically with DaVita's continuous discovery/continuous delivery model.
- Familiarity with Value-Based Care modules such as Healthy Planet and Compass Rose is a major plus.
- Comfortable managing various workstreams, including workflow design, change management, and clinical/operational readiness.
Skills
- Technical skills in Epic and Cerner.
- Strong ability to manage project timelines in an evolving Agile environment.

- Position operates remotely supporting Central Time zone.
