Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Representative to manage high-volume claims and AR management for three ASCs specializing in Ophthalmology. The primary responsibilities include claim submission, follow-up, fixing unposted items, and managing insurance and patient AR balances.
Key Responsibilities
- High-volume claims follow-up and AR management.
- Submit and follow-up on claims.
- Fix unposted items.
- Manage insurance and patient AR balances.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of billing experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance and medical terminology.
- Comfortable handling 60-100 claims per day.
Skills
- Experience with NextGen and Medicare billing is preferred.
- Background in Ophthalmology is a plus.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and professional demeanor.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work 100% on-site, considering construction on Rt 18 may affect commute. Shift schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a potential to work from home one day per week after a year of employment.
