Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers, assist with patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations while maintaining the highest standard of patient privacy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vital signs, and document urologic symptoms.
- Obtain and record detailed medical histories in the EMR.
- Prepare patients for exams and maintain privacy and professionalism during sensitive visits.
- Assist providers during in-office procedures such as catheterization and cystoscopy.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields; handle instruments using proper sterile techniques.
- Collect, label, and process urine and other specimens; perform basic lab tests like urinalysis.
- Provide patient education on medications, catheter care, and post-procedure instructions.
- Accurately document procedures, findings, and patient interactions in the EMR.
- Coordinate with labs, imaging centers, and pharmacies.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after visits.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification.
Experience
- Experience with urine specimen collection, urinalysis, and lab processing.
- Preferred urology experience.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
Skills

Additional Requirements
Monday-Friday shift times between 7am-8pm.
