Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic team. The primary responsibility involves executing microbial testing and environmental monitoring in clean room settings. The position entails media plating and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental monitoring (EM) on-site and handle media plates daily.
- Sample and incubate plates in clean room settings.
- Run tests in nine ISO 7 and 8 clean rooms as part of phase I and expand to additional rooms in phase II.
- Alternate duties between clean room monitoring and laboratory plate reading to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Execute early morning EM testing before production begins, ensuring prompt sampling and preparation.
Qualifications
- BS Degree or higher.
- 1-2+ years of micro plating experience, particularly media growth on plates.
- Familiarity with GMP Clean practices, though open to various industry experiences.
- Comfortable engaging with the full-gowning process, willingness to train provided.
Skills
- Technical understanding of micro plating and agar plate handling.
- Ability to work in GMP and clean room environments.
