About the Role:
The LPN is part of the team dedicated to providing day-to-day clinical and operational activities for Occupational Health Services. The LPN will be a highly motivated, quality-conscious healthcare professional with the ability to work in an environment where one-on-one time with patients and positive outcomes are the ultimate measurement of success. The successful candidate will focus on prevention and wellness, perform all nursing functions, phone triage, coordinate care with external providers, and patient education as directed by the providers on site.
- Type: 4 Month Contract (to offer coverage)
- Shift: Mon/Tu/Weds 2PM-10PM
- Pay: $39.00 - $42.00
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a clinical environment.
- Accurate/timely documentation into the EMR (EPIC) for all patient care, including patient evaluations, history, vital signs, treatments, and test results.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current LPN license in NY or compact licensure required
- Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN or COHN-S) and/or other Occupational Health related services (CAOHC, NIOSH-approved spirometry) preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct worksite injury/illness evaluations for employees.

Provide treatment in coordination with the Wellness Center and referrals to urgent care or emergency departments in accordance with QuadMed protocols.

Assist in the modification of patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses, conditions, and as ordered by the provider.

Perform clinical duties including recording vital signs, audiograms, vision testing, urine collection, blood collection, spirometry, respirator fit testing, injections, basic first aid, urine drug testing, and breath alcohol testing.

Sterilize medical instruments/equipment and help stock rooms with supplies.

Perform administrative functions, including front office duties and scheduling appointments as requested.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC (no phlebotomy required).

Work closely with internal teams to address clinical and operational activities.
