Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our client's team. The primary responsibilities include covering both front and back office duties, managing patient load efficiently, and ensuring high-quality care. This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations within the healthcare practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Comfortably cover both front and back office duties.
- Manage daily patient intake of 25+ patients.
- Perform back office duties including taking vitals, patient intake, and chart preparation.
- Administer vaccines, injections, and conduct spirometry and EKG tests.
- Perform point of care testing such as Flu, Strep, COVID, A1C, etc.
- Execute phlebotomy tasks, ensuring understanding of required tubes for specific diagnoses.
Qualifications
- Must possess at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
- Experience in primary care is preferable.
- Phlebotomy skills are highly desirable.
Skills
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and primary care tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and ability to work under pressure.
Additional Requirements
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
