Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide trauma-informed mental health support and consultation to educators, families, and young children (ages 0–5). The role involves collaborating with early education and family services teams to promote resilience, well-being, and developmental growth, while helping create nurturing environments for families.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Provide trauma-informed mental health support and consultation to educators, families, and young children (ages 0–5).
- Collaborate with early education and family services teams to promote resilience, well-being, and developmental growth.
- Help create nurturing environments where families feel seen, supported, and empowered.
- Conduct ASQs related to emotional support, social support, and parent trauma.
- Obtain consent forms from families.
- Create short-term care plans.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Qualifications
- A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in California.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with young children and families, especially in community-based or educational settings.
- Excellent communication, cultural humility, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel to both Los Angeles (90026) and Lynwood (90262) locations.
Experience
Experience: Availability for up to 20 hours per week as a 1099 contractor.
Schedule / Shift
20 hours a week. Flexible schedule between 8 AM-2:30 PM but must be able to see patients at respective sites within 2 weeks. Ability to do data entry at home.
