Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include assisting in patient intake, clinical procedures such as GLP-1 injections, and aiding providers with exams and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, room them efficiently, and accurately record vital signs and medical history in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Perform GLP-1 injections as directed by the provider.
- Assist the Physician or Advanced Practice Provider with exams, minor procedures, and patient education.
- Collect, label, and process lab specimens ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the EHR.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of clinical supplies, ensuring exam rooms and treatment areas are organized and properly stocked.
Qualifications
- Must be Bilingual and able to translate between Spanish and English.
- 1+ years of MA experience.
- National Medical Assistant Certification is preferred. Minimum of a completed Medical Assistant school certificate is required.
- High School Diploma or GED quivalence is required.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Skills
- Bilingual communication skills.
- Ability to manage clinical supplies and maintain organized treatment areas.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
