Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Contact Center Representative to join their team. The primary responsibilities include handling patient and physician inquiries, confirming insurance details, verifying coverage and eligibility, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inquiries from patients and physicians regarding scheduled appointments and procedures.
- Verify insurance, coverage, and eligibility details accurately.
- Document and update authorization requirements and demographic information in the EMR.
- Provide information about My Chart enrollment and other necessary details to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- 2 years of previous patient access, call center, or scheduling experience.
- Experience managing large volumes of inquiries or working in a health system setting.
- Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Epic EMR and being bilingual in Spanish.
Skills
- Proficiency in handling high volumes of calls in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Technical skills in EMR systems, preferably Epic EMR.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Additional Requirements
The position offers an opportunity to convert to a permanent role with a reputable organization. The role will transition to remote work after completion of the initial training.
