Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Insurance Follow Up Representative to join their team, focusing on medical billing and collections. The primary responsibilities include managing a metric of 45 accounts per day with a quality standard of 90%, ensuring the accuracy of notations and timely follow-through. Additionally, expertise in government payer processes, such as Medicare guidelines, is required to resolve complex claims efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve a metric of 45 accounts per day with a 90% quality standard.
- Follow a tip sheet and undergo monthly quality assessments.
- Conduct standard insurance follow-up efforts to bring claims to full resolution.
- Research and address challenges related to managed Medicare.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of PB follow up experience.
- Experience with Epic software.
- Proficiency in handling government payer systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel, 10-key, and math.
Additional Requirements
Onsite training for the first 3-4 weeks, followed by a hybrid work model requiring presence onsite 1 day a week (Wednesday). Standard work hours are 8am to 5pm.
