Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their Ambulatory Care facility. The primary responsibilities include supporting medical providers in standard administrative and clinical tasks such as rooming and taking vitals, performing phlebotomy, processing urine samples, and managing medication refills.
Key Responsibilities
- Standard MA Responsibilities
- 1-1 support with Provider when staffing allows
- Beginning of shift spot checks to ensure proper temperature controls and daily testing
- Perform rooming and vitals
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures, including lab draws and vaccines
- Formalize administrative tasks such as referrals and refill requests
- Manage a volume of 20-35 patients daily
Qualifications
- 1-2+ Years Experience within Primary/Internal Medicine
- CMA (Certified w/ WA DOH)
- BLS Certification
- Phlebotomy Experience
- Recent EMR Experience
- Preferred: Athena Experience
Additional Requirements
- Flexible schedule within clinic hours: Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, and potential Saturdays 8am - 1pm
- Training involves a 3-4 week program, with initial virtual onboarding, followed by shadowing, then ramping up to full duties
