Seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our fulfillment operations, ensuring clinical accuracy, regulatory excellence, and a seamless experience for every patient we serve.
Reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge, you will serve as a key individual contributor, overseeing site-level workflows and upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance within our modern fulfillment environment. This is a temporary, overnight position working Sunday through Wednesday 9:30 pm - 7:30 am.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight & Verification: Perform comprehensive prescription verification and drug utilization reviews (DUR) to ensure the highest level of patient safety and dispensing accuracy.
- Operational Leadership: Support and supervise pharmacy technicians and logistics personnel, fostering a culture of efficiency, precision, and adherence to established workflows.
- Regulatory Stewardship: Ensure all operations strictly comply with state and federal regulations; manage documentation and the safeguarding of legend drugs.
- Service Coordination: Oversee the lifecycle of pharmaceutical services, from initial processing to final delivery coordination, ensuring timely fulfillment for our patient population.
- Quality & Confidentiality: Maintain absolute patient privacy (HIPAA) and contribute to internal Quality Assurance programs to drive continuous service improvement.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with internal clinical and tech teams to optimize our proprietary delivery models and support innovative care initiatives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of residence; must be in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a clinical, retail, or high-volume healthcare setting.
- Leadership: Proven ability to organize workflows and lead a diverse team of technicians and support staff.
- Ethical Standards: A deep commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to maintain high ethical standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical/Tech Requirements: Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods and adapt to new pharmacy management software.
