Job Summary
Our client seeks a Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. The primary responsibilities include providing routine clinic duties associated with a reproductive health program, ensuring high-level customer service and patient care, and supporting health center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine clinic duties under the supervision of the Health Center Manager.
- Provide customer service and patient care as part of a reproductive health program.
- Conduct patient history review, perform and process labs, provide contraceptive supplies, and offer unbiased education.
- Assist with inventory and support Clinicians when needed.
- Act as advocates for advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assisting diploma program, Associate degree in Medical Assisting, or current EMT/Paramedic licensure, or 6+ months experience as a Health Center Associate II.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate for healthcare providers.
- Active LPN license in Nebraska, if applicable.
- Hepatitis B vaccination records, MMR vaccination records or proof of immunization, and a Tuberculosis PPD Skin Test no older than 12 months.
Skills
- Strong customer service and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a team and support health center operations.
Additional Requirements
- Schedules created & sent out 6 weeks in advance.
- Full-time schedule, ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Rotating Saturdays and evenings as assigned.
