Overview:
The Revenue Specialist that is responsible for supporting No Surprises Act strategy. This person will be supporting the administrative portion of the NSA working with a high-volume of emails that will need to be looked at and triaged, communicating with CMS, payers and 3rd party entities. This person is responsible for traditional revenue cycle collection functions and so a base layer understanding, knowledge and experience in RCM space is crucial to their success in the role. This person is also expected to know and understand health insurance terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process email inflow for NSA workstream and track dispute updates in Excel
- Interpret complex requests from arbitrators to provide clear and accurate responses
- Apply knowledge of NSA workstream to develop solutions to changing payor and arbitrator behavior
- Understand principles of NSA and process deadlines
- Utilize payor portals to check eligibility, obtain remits, verify claim status
- Ability to process high volume of data entry with high accuracy

- Revenue Cycle Management experience
- Payer / health insurance knowledge and experience
- Excel knowledge and experience (intermediate level)

Schedule/Shift:
- Monday - Friday; start time between 5am - 9am local time based on employee location
- 40 hours week, 8 hours a day
- Optional/voluntary overtime opportunities
Contract: 800 hours contract to hire
