Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Coder to manage the full A-Z cycle for out-of-network billing across multiple practices. The candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and directing offshore staff to ensure tasks such as medical records delivery, appeal drafting, and payment posting are executed efficiently. A key responsibility will be interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and identifying cases eligible for arbitration under the Federal No Surprises Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the complete cycle for out-of-network billing for eight practices.
- Overseeing and directing ten offshore staff members.
- Ensuring the delivery of medical records, drafting of appeals, and posting of payments.
- Interpreting EOBs and identifying cases eligible for arbitration under the Federal No Surprises Act.
Qualifications
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) preferred but not mandatory for highly skilled candidates.
- Extensive expertise in Out-of-Network (OON) billing.
- Familiarity with the Federal No Surprises Act and arbitration language.
- Technical proficiency with Excel, EOB interpretation, and aging reports.
Skills
- Technical proficiency with Excel and EOB interpretation.
- Ability to audit systems for efficiency.
- Self-starter with a willingness to undertake manual tasks when necessary.

Must be open to on-site, hybrid, or fully remote work arrangements, depending on the client's needs.
