Job Summary

Our client is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join their team. The primary responsibilities include performing pulmonary function testing, administering oxygen therapy, and collaborating with providers to develop patient education on respiratory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Pulmonary Function Testing and occasionally methacholine challenges under clinic protocols.
• Administer oxygen therapy and PAP management according to physician orders and clinic protocols.
• Build strong positive communication with clinic staff to increase the success of the practice and provide excellent patient care.
• Assist with prior authorizations for PFTs and related respiratory services.
• In collaboration with the Providers, develop patient education on PFT testing, inhalers, and oxygen.
• Support and educate clinic staff regarding respiratory procedures and PFTs.
• Communicate PFT and respiratory results to patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current Colorado RT License
• Open to Registered or Certified Pulmonary Therapists or a Pulmonary Function Technologist
• EPIC, Methacholine Challenges Experience

• 2 years of experience preferred, but open to new grads
