Job Summary
Our client seeks a highly organized and compassionate New Patient Coordinator to manage patient records, coordinate care plans with doctors, and support patients through their treatment journey. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate documentation and effective communication between patients and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Records: Prepare patient charts and keep EMR data accurate and updated.
- Summarize History: Create brief reports for doctors on patient history and past testing.
- Coordinate Care: Work with doctors to set up and explain infertility treatment plans.
- Patient Liaison: Act as the main contact for patients to answer questions and explain next steps.
- Lab Review: Track and review all lab results and medical workups.
- Team Collaboration: Sync with the front desk on scheduling and the back office on doctor instructions.
- Emotional Support: Provide compassionate care and guidance throughout the patient's journey.
- Admin Support: Handle visa letters for international patients and stay current on professional training.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience
- Colorado Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification
- Highly organized
- Great communicator (verbal and written)
- Preferred: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or degree from an accredited school of Nursing
- Preferred: Women's Health Experience
