Job Summary

Our client seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider. This role involves scheduling appointments, performing necessary intake functions, directing telephone calls, and other patient service duties to ensure quality care in the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and perform necessary intake functions for arriving patients.
• Support healthcare providers in delivering medical care, assisting with patient procedures as necessary.
• Maintain patient treatment areas to organizational safety and compliance standards.
• Contribute to departmental performance improvement goals.
• Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to the Corporate Compliance Plan.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of experience in a relevant field.
• MA Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) and CPR certification.
• Proficiency in Epic (new) and NextGen (legacy) systems preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Schedule/Shift:  4x10 schedule - 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM shift time, rotating day off during the week
