Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with a strong focus on applying behavior analysis principles. This role involves completing behavioral assessments, designing individualized intervention plans, tracking client progress, and collaborating with families, school personnel, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete behavioral assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and skill deficits
- Design and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles
- Track client progress through ongoing data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment strategies as needed
- Train and support behavior technicians and frontline staff in implementing behavior plans
- Collaborate with families, school personnel, and healthcare providers to support consistent care delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
- Participate in intake evaluations and contribute to ongoing treatment planning and review meetings
Qualifications
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
- Strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis and behavior intervention strategies
- Experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities
- Ability to interpret behavioral data and apply findings to treatment decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of clinical documentation standards and HIPAA requirements
Additional Requirements
Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to measurable outcomes. Monday – Friday, preferably 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM availability (flexible if supervision needs are met).
