Job Summary
Our client is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join their team. The primary responsibilities include developing treatment plans, conducting comprehensive evaluations, implementing customized rehabilitation programs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the effective treatment and recovery of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate patients on physical therapy by explaining treatment plans, teaching injury prevention strategies, and promoting proper ergonomics and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's strength, balance, range of motion, coordination, endurance, and posture.
- Perform comprehensive initial examinations, interpret clinical findings, and develop accurate diagnoses with individualized treatment plans.
- Design and implement customized rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain.
- Apply hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical performance.
- Continuously monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, assistants, patients, and caregivers to coordinate care.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and provide clinical supervision to staff.
- See 12-14 patients per day.
Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master, and/or Doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited university/program.
- Physical Therapy Licensure of PT in the State of Texas.
- CPR Certified.
Skills
- Technical skills related to physical therapy procedures and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Requirements
Must be flexible as schedules can vary from 8-5, 9-6, 10-7, with work required from Monday to Saturday.
