Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide essential support in patient care and communication. The role involves assisting patients through various communication modes, helping in data collection, and offering support services according to clinic protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients via telephone or other modalities as part of the primary care team.
• Collect health information, vitals, and share necessary health history with providers and care team members.
• Provide healthcare support services for all patients (adult and pediatric) following clinic protocols and community practice standards.
• Coordinate general patient care to address diverse patient needs.
• Manage calls and correspondence about pharmacy, lab, referrals, and other inquiries from physicians, pharmacies, and patients.
• Collaborate on quality initiatives with providers and clinical staff.
• Create and support a teamwork-oriented environment respecting diversity and cooperation.
• Maintain positive communication and a professional demeanor with coworkers and patients consistently.
• Execute additional duties and projects as required.
• Attend necessary training sessions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Currently holds a valid and active CMA certification/registration.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a Family/Primary Care setting including Virtual & Telehealth services.

Schedule

4x10 Hour Shifts with 1 weekend every 3 weeks.
