Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join their team. The primary responsibilities include maintaining professional knowledge in line with nursing standards, assessing patient health status, and implementing tailored nursing care plans. The nurse will be expected to handle emergencies, perform preoperative processes, and ensure continuity of care through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate current, comprehensive professional knowledge and skills in alignment with nursing standards and department policies.
- Assess physiological and psychosocial health status, including pain management and patient history documentation.
- Report pertinent information to appropriate staff for continuity of care.
- Document patient information legibly and accurately.
- Formulate and implement patient care plans, adjusting based on patient and family data.
- Practice within legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring proper aseptic technique and surgical procedures are followed.
- Participate in a Professional Nursing Organization.
Qualifications
- 6 months OR experience.
- 6 months Ortho OR Spine experience.
- Experience in circulating OR scrubbing.
- Preferred: Surgical specialty experience.

- Clinical skills in surgical and orthopedic environments.
- Ability to assess, problem-solve, and respond to emergencies.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
