Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee clinical and administrative functions across assigned regional clinics. This role involves providing direct oversight, coaching, and mentorship for Registered Nurses, delivering concierge emergency medical care, and developing nursing schedules while managing medical inventory and ensuring quality assurance and process improvement plans are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a 40-hour work week split between 16 hours of clinical care and 24 hours of administrative leadership.
- Provide direct oversight, coaching, and mentorship for Registered Nurses across assigned regional clinics.
- Deliver high-touch concierge emergency medical care, including IV access, phlebotomy, administering medications, and performing EKGs.
- Develop and manage monthly nursing schedules, ensuring full staffing while minimizing overtime and meeting budget goals.
- Oversee medical inventory, including medications and vaccines, and perform quarterly counts in collaboration with operations.
- Partner with Medical Directors to implement quality assurance and process improvement plans for nursing functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current New York Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration.
- Minimum of 5 years of Emergency Medicine nursing experience and 2 years of clinical leadership experience.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Technical proficiency with EMR systems (AthenaHealth) and productivity tools like Salesforce / Microsoft Teams.
- Experience in a startup or "category creator" environment preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Full-time (40 hours/week): Primarily Monday-Friday, though flexibility for emergent situations is required.
- Requires travel between clinics around New York.
- Varying shifts: Clinic shifts range from 8-hour shifts to 12-hour shifts depending on the specific location.
