Job Summary

Our client is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include rooming patients, reviewing and updating patient records in Athena, taking patient vital signs, recording manual blood pressures, and assisting providers during pap smear exams while maintaining patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Reviewing and updating patient records in Athena
• Monitoring patient vital signs
• Recording manual blood pressures
• Assisting providers during pap smear exams

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting
• Experience with EMR systems
• Preferred: Experience using Athena EMR
• Preferred: Prior experience in an ObGyn setting

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as an MA working in an outpatient setting
• EMR experience highly preferred, especially with Athena and ObGyn settings

Skills

• Proficient in EMR systems, particularly Athena
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Additional Requirements

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Free on-site parking available
• No weekends or holidays required
