Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Sales Manager to drive growth and exceed sales targets within an assigned territory. This role requires strategic account management, proactive lead generation, and industry representation to expand brand presence. The ideal candidate will bring a client-centric approach and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceed growth targets by consistently meeting and surpassing sales quotas while adhering to established sales processes.
- Retain and expand current accounts, acquiring profitable new business partnerships.
- Utilize cold calling and networking to identify and secure new client opportunities.
- Attend national and regional trade shows to enhance brand presence.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure valuable customer interactions.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to increase market share.
- Serve as a knowledgeable consultant on industry trends and new service offerings.
- Prepare high-impact presentations, reports, and proposals.
- Build positive relationships with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Travel daily within the territory, including overnight travel up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred with 2+ years of sales experience, or a High School diploma with 3+ years of documented, successful sales performance.
- Mobility: Must be able to travel within the assigned geography; valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literate (MS Office/Excel); experience using a CRM to manage sales pipelines is highly desirable.
- Organizational Skills: Superior time management with the ability to balance sales activity and administrative requirements.
Skills
- Familiarity with the managed care landscape and healthcare reimbursement.
- Prior experience in diagnostics, healthcare, or medical device sales is a strong plus.
