Nuclear Medicine Technologist

The Opportunity
Medix is proud to partner with a growing molecular imaging organization in Bethesda, MD. We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a team that is redefining cancer care through advanced radiopharmaceutical therapy and precision medicine.
In this role, you will do more than just operate machinery; you will be a clinical leader, helping to shape protocols and mentor staff in a high-growth, innovative environment equipped with the latest SPECT-CT and PET-CT technology.
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Serve as the lead resource for technologists, mentoring the team on best practices, safety standards, and patient-focused care.
- Advanced Imaging: Perform complex SPECT-CT and PET-CT procedures and support personalized theranostic treatments.
- Innovation & Protocols: Assist in developing and implementing protocols for emerging imaging technologies and staying current on advancements in the field.
- Regulatory Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety, NJ state regulations, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians to execute personalized diagnostic and treatment plans for oncology patients.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold the following credentials:
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- CT Certification (ARRT CT or NMTCB CT).
- State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Experience: 5+ years of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of personalized theranostics and federal/state regulatory compliance.
