Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist to join their team. This role primarily involves processing remittances, manual payment postings, and utilizing an understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Coordination of Benefits (COB) to support financial operations. The specialist will work closely within a financial assistance office and will be expected to contribute effectively to the team's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Process remittances for provider payments from services rendered.
- Handle manual payment postings efficiently.
- Collaborate as part of a team to ensure month-end tasks are completed, including working occasional Saturdays.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is required.
- Ability to comprehend and process Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
- Understanding of Coordination of Benefits (COB) is essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is necessary.
- Payment Posting experience is desirable.

Additional Requirements
