Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Contact Center Specialist to serve as a 24/7, entry-level point of contact for handling a wide range of customer service needs. This position is responsible for supporting callers by responding to inquiries, coordinating information, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls and inquiries from both internal and external callers.
- Screen and assess patient needs, applying de-escalation techniques when appropriate and escalating concerns as needed.
- Use sound judgment to determine appropriate next steps and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Support call routing, processing, and monitoring functions across multiple departments.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient, provider, and service-related information within electronic systems.
- Handle requests related to transportation, equipment, and other services, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to inquiries received via phone, web, fax, and paging systems using strong customer service skills.
- Utilize various systems and tools (e.g., electronic medical records, databases, and web-based applications) to access and input information.
- Identify and escalate data discrepancies or service issues as appropriate.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Call Center Experience (Preferred).
- Medical Knowledge (Preferred).
- Experience with Epic (Preferred).
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 2PM - 10:30 PM, with Rotating Weekends.
