Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Receptionist responsible for managing incoming calls, distributing mail, and maintaining office supplies. The candidate will assist in creating new employee labels, updating daily sign-in sheets, and ensuring confidentiality in all company matters.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Answers incoming calls and transfers calls from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Receives calls in the morning from answering services and forwards messages to relevant parties.
• Distributes and date stamps incoming mail.
• Reviews new applications, assigns application numbers, and distributes to appropriate sites and coworkers.
• Orders supplies and ensures the supply room is stocked.
• Prepares new hire packages and pamphlets.
• Updates daily sign-in sheets and phone lists.
• Creates new file folder and mailroom labels.
• Maintains mailroom equipment and replenishes the stamp machine.
• Takes mail to the mailbox and prepares FedEx packages.
• Maintains confidentiality of all company procedures and information.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or its equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
• Experience in a healthcare or social services organization is desirable.

Schedule / Shift

Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. - 5 P.M.
