Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Receptionist responsible for managing incoming calls, distributing mail, and maintaining office supplies. The candidate will assist in creating new employee labels, updating daily sign-in sheets, and ensuring confidentiality in all company matters.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Answers incoming calls and transfers calls from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Receives calls in the morning from answering services and forwards messages to relevant parties.
- Distributes and date stamps incoming mail.
- Reviews new applications, assigns application numbers, and distributes to appropriate sites and coworkers.
- Orders supplies and ensures the supply room is stocked.
- Prepares new hire packages and pamphlets.
- Updates daily sign-in sheets and phone lists.
- Creates new file folder and mailroom labels.
- Maintains mailroom equipment and replenishes the stamp machine.
- Takes mail to the mailbox and prepares FedEx packages.
- Maintains confidentiality of all company procedures and information.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- High School diploma or its equivalent.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
- Experience in a healthcare or social services organization is desirable.
Schedule / Shift
Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. - 5 P.M.
