This role is part of a value-based care model that allows providers to spend more time with each patient (around 45 minutes), focusing on building strong relationships—especially with the senior population (60+). What You’d Be Doing:
• Supporting a cardiology-focused provider in a primary care setting
• Rooming patients, taking vitals, and conducting patient intake (medical history, screenings, etc.)
• Performing EKGs, stress testing, spirometry, and applying Holter monitors
• Assisting with phlebotomy and other clinical procedures
• Providing patient education and health coaching
• Handling patient communication and supporting overall care coordination
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekends or holidays)
What They’re Looking For:
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Experience with cardiology-related procedures (EKG, Holter monitors, etc.)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice to Have:
• MA Certification
• Experience working with geriatric patients
• EMR experience (especially eClinicalWorks)
