Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Follow Up Representative. The primary responsibilities of this role include handling account follow-ups for unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims, calling insurance payers, and checking statuses in payer portals. Additionally, the representative will be responsible for managing the appeal process, with production expectations to ramp up to 45+ accounts per day.

Key Responsibilities

• All account follow-up duties for unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims.
• Calling insurance payers and checking statuses in payer portals.
• Responsible for the appeal process.
• Production expectations include managing 45+ accounts per day.

Qualifications

• HB Insurance Collections experience.
• Experience working with Government payers.
• 2+ years of Epic EMR experience, specifically working with DRG back-end appeals & denials in Epic.
• Strong IT/Computer skills (Tech-savvy).
• Excel experience preferred.
• Previous experience working remotely preferred.
• Ability to identify denial/reimbursement trends and report those trends professionally preferred.

100% remote position, always will be remote.
