Pharmacy Benefits Specialist – On-Site, Boise, ID

What You’ll Do:
- Process pharmacy claims accurately and efficiently
- Investigate and resolve rejected or denied insurance claims by reviewing patient benefits and coverage
- Document claim activity, research findings, and resolutions
- Conduct research using internal systems and external resources to support claim resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with pharmacy, compliance, and operations teams
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with corporate policies and State/Federal laws
What We’re Looking For:
- Working knowledge of claims adjudication and insurance processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
- Technical proficiency and ability to quickly learn new systems and software
- Prior pharmacy or patient support program experience is a plus
- Familiarity with insurance reimbursement, prior authorizations, and appeals processes is preferred
Schedule:
- Standard: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Mon–Fri) with one Saturday per month, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Rotational option available between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Mon–Fri) plus Saturday rotation
Schedules are released approximately one month in advance
Pay: $21/hour
