Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who will be responsible for obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations, benefits, and price estimates for inpatient and outpatient services. This includes handling admissions, surgeries, imaging, diagnostic and procedural cardiology, outpatient rehabilitation, and infusion patients. This remote position is integral to maintaining team performance and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations for a wide range of medical services including radiology, infusion and surgical.
• Ensure accurate benefit verification and price estimates for patients.
• Maintain high financial secure rate goals to prevent revenue decrease.
• Support team performance and authorization turnaround times.

Minimun Requirements: 

• 2+ years experience with Epic and utilizing work queues and payer portals. 
• Must be able to work EST hours M-F 9 am to 5 pm EST 

Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in handling insurance authorizations and verifications.

Additional Requirements

This is a remote position with work hours from 9am to 5pm EST.
