Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibilities include acting as an independent technician for machinery repair, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an independent technician for all machinery repair efforts on the assigned shift under the direction of the Manager of Operations.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of manufacturing and facilities equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with GMP and safety standards.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, deviations, and corrective actions in compliance with procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in equipment validation, installation, and commissioning of new systems.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and urgent production issues.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend replacements as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical coursework in mechanical, industrial, or commercial repair.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- 1–2 years manufacturing experience; GMP/GDP background OR mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance mechanic.
Skills
- Technical skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems troubleshooting.
- Strong documentation and regulatory compliance skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
