Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Epic IT Project Manager to oversee and manage project implementation for multiple clinical modules and domains within a hospital setting. This role specifically involves managing the OpTime, ASAP, and Beaker AP modules, along with non-Epic project management for general Peri-Operative needs and non-Epic Lab applications such as Cerner and Soft Bank. The primary goal is to drive successful project completion and integration across these areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project management to drive and lead workstreams for specified domains and applications.
- Facilitate workstream meetings, document issues and risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage scope/change management.
- Collaboratively develop and track workstream level project plans.
- Coordinate Testing & QA for workstreams.
- Handle data conversion as needed for in-scope applications.
- Support governance and stakeholder management.
- Organize go-live planning, including command center planning, staffing, and cutover execution.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience implementing Epic modules and/or overall implementation as a Project Manager.
- Prior experience with converting acquired hospitals to Epic.
- PMP certification is preferred but not required.
- Local residency in Middle Tennessee/Nashville is preferred but not mandatory.

- Proficiency in project management, specifically within clinical and hospital settings.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
