Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Medical Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations in a healthcare setting. The primary responsibilities include patient coordination, managing finances, and providing clinical support to ensure a smooth and efficient practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly at check-in and check-out, manage digital intake forms, and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Collect copays, coinsurance, and past-due balances proactively.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients.
- Submit and manage authorization requests to ensure continuous care.
- Manage complex PT/OT provider schedules and accommodate urgent evaluations.
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound communications effectively.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Oversee clinic's laundry cycle to ensure availability of clean towels and linens.
- Assist in keeping clinical areas and lobby tidy and welcoming.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare administration.
- Positive personality with excellent patient service skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Knowledge in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or orthopedics preferred.
- Experience using EPIC software preferred.
