Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Field Patient Care Representative to deliver and install medical equipment, educate patients on its use, and support them in their healthcare journey. This role involves traveling within approximately one hour of Madison to provide these essential services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and install medical equipment including orthotic equipment and rental cold therapy/passive motion machines to patients' homes, clinics, and care facilities.
- Interact with patients to ensure they are able to use the equipment and provide hands-on demonstrations.
- Deliver and set up equipment for an average of 2-5 patients per day.
- Complete administrative and phone work on a provided tablet.
- Work out of a warehouse and handle light inventory.
- Clean equipment as necessary.
- Communicate and report to the local Service Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel to patient homes.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to move equipment.
- Insurance coverage: $100,000 per person bodily injury liability, $300,000 per incident bodily injury liability, $50,000 property damage liability, $1,000 or less deductible on collision and comprehensive insurance if applicable.
Skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients.
- Preferred: Background in healthcare such as Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or Clinical experience.
Additional Requirements
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, with normal business hours and flexibility to start between 7:30am-9:00am. No on-call required.
