Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to provide operational support for assigned Account Managers, handle escalated claims, and coordinate cross-functionally within the organization. The role involves monitoring account inboxes, managing escalated claim issues, and liaising between account management and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day operational support for assigned Account Managers.
• Monitor shared account management inbox and triage incoming requests.
• Draft client-facing communications for AM review and approval.
• Track open service items and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
• Own and manage escalated claim issues from intake through resolution.
• Partner with internal teams to investigate and resolve complex member concerns.
• Document case details, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Act as liaison between Account Management and internal operational teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in health insurance, TPA, benefits administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of medical claims processing and benefit plan design.
• Experience handling escalated member or client issues preferred.

Skills

• ZenDesk experience preferred.
