Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join a newly formed team to manage continued growth. The main responsibilities include assisting account managers with client implementation and onboarding, managing renewals, and handling electronic processes related to insurance plan setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new employer groups, including data collection, eligibility setup, plan configuration, and system activation.
- Review sold case documentation, benefit summaries, and client requirements to ensure accurate plan setup.
- Coordinate internal workflows across departments to meet implementation deadlines.
- Manage timelines, track progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Serve as the point of contact for brokers and clients during onboarding, providing guidance on requirements and next steps.
- Ensure accurate setup of plan benefits and perform final audits for enrollment accuracy before go-live.
- Contribute to process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in the benefits or insurance field.
- Understanding of basic insurance plan setup.
- Familiarity with implementation procedures.
- Experience with Jira, Zendesk, or other project management tools is preferred.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience dealing with benefits and insurance.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in project management tools like Jira and Zendesk.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
Additional Requirements
- Fully remote position.
- Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, preferably EST or CT.
