Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Back Office Medical Assistant to join their team at a busy Multi-Specialty, Adult Internal Medicine clinic. The primary responsibilities of this role include supporting a team of rotating providers with both back office and front office tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support back office operations (90% of the week) including:
  • Rooming patients
  • Triage (height, weight, BP, temp)
  • Administering injections - vaccines and medications
  • Performing EKGs
• Support front office tasks (10% of the week/as needed) including:
  • Patient check-in
  • Registration
  • Answering phones

Qualifications

• CMA Required (AAMA, NHA preferred)
• MA Diploma from a CAAHEP Licensed Vocational School

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of previous Medical Assistant experience

Skills

• Proficiency in EPIC
• Experience with injections
