Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their team. The primary responsibilities include performing high-priority stroke workups, conducting MRI safety screenings, operating and maintaining equipment, coordinating with the ER team, and ensuring accurate documentation in patient charting. This role requires flexibility in covering shifts to maintain department throughput.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-priority stroke workups in coordination with tele-neurologists.
- Conduct strict MRI safety screenings for patients and staff.
- Operate and maintain image quality on Canon Orion 1.5T and Siemens Skyra 3T systems.
- Work closely with the ER team at the main campus to prioritize urgent imaging.
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient charting and Agfa PACS for image storage and transmission.
- Position patients and explain procedures for comfort and image accuracy.
- Cover 12-hour weekend shifts and provide supplemental weekday coverage.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certifications required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, BLS Certification
Qualifications
- Highly proficient in stroke workups
- Experience with Canon 1.5T or Siemens 3T systems
- Proficient in using EPIC EMR
- Associates or Bachelors preferred

Saturday & Sunday (12-hour shifts) plus two 6-hour shifts during the week.
