Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist to join their team in a hospital setting. The primary responsibility is to draw blood from patients of all ages and provide excellent customer service, entering necessary information into a computerized laboratory system.

Key Responsibilities

• Draw blood from patients of all ages in a hospital environment.
• Handle a high volume of patients, often drawing blood from 30 or more individuals in a day.
• Provide excellent customer service to each patient.
• Work with test codes and patient demographic information and enter it into a computerized laboratory system.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience in a non-donor setting.
• Comfortable with computers and navigating through different programs.
• Ability to spend a lot of time on their feet and walk extensively in a large hospital environment.

Experience

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience in a non-donor setting.

Skills

• Proficient in using computer systems and laboratory programs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work night shifts from 8pm-6:30am, including every other weekend and holidays, as the hospital operates 24/7.
