Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. The primary responsibilities include providing clinical nursing care, facilitating patient intake and assessment, administering treatment, and aiding in care coordination and operations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient flow and obtain vital signs, medical history, and allergies.
- Administer prescribed medications and nursing treatments, monitoring and documenting patient responses.
- Assist with exams, minor procedures, and specialized testing while ensuring accurate specimen collection.
- Execute provider-directed orders and maintain patient records within the EHR.
- Act as a patient liaison to relay provider instructions and provide health education.
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, cleaned, and meet disinfection protocols.
- Manage medical documentation including disability forms and regulatory data collection.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Colorado License or Compact License.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: Experience in a busy practice and previous oncology experience.
Schedule/Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
