Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Infusion Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This position involves rotating among different key groups, handling responsibilities from stocking medications to sterile compounding in a clean room environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work outside the clean room to stock and pull medications for the operations team during the initial training phase.
- Engage in data entry and patient contact in collaboration with the intake pharmacist.
- Conduct sterile compounding in the clean room, including preparing feed bags and chemo bags.
Qualifications
- Maine Pharmacy Technician in Training license (minimum requirement) or State Certification.
- Comfortable with rotating shifts and weekends.
- Willingness to obtain National Certification within one year of hire.
- National certification (PTCB) is preferred.
- Experience with sterile compounding is an advantage.
Skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
Additional Requirements
Must be adaptable to rotating shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, including a weekend rotation every four weeks.
