Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Call Center Representative responsible for managing inbound calls for patients contacting their doctor offices, mainly for scheduling appointments. The position requires effective customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer issues while communicating resolutions accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking inbound calls for scheduling appointments.
- Accountable for problem resolution and communicating solutions to appropriate parties.
- Coordinating multiple services for patients, including registration and scheduling.
- Verifying and updating patient demographics, insurance, and other information.
- Providing patient education on various inquiries such as scheduling and lab results.
- Meeting departmental standards for production, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Demonstrating a cooperative, positive attitude in the workplace.
- Mentoring new hires and staff in call handling best practices.
- Providing excellent customer service to callers and patients.
Qualifications
- Practice experience (front desk and phones) with comfort speaking to patients.
- At least one year of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to hold a conversation.
- Bilingual ability is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work remotely.
- Experience with Epic systems preferred.
