Work Setting: On-Site Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Access Scheduler to join our healthcare team in Evansville, Indiana. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth registration and scheduling experience while supporting multiple departments and clinical teams.
This is a fully on-site position in a fast-paced healthcare environment and requires in-person work at our Evansville facility.
Responsibilities

Greet and register a high volume of patients, including many walk-in visits

Serve as the first point of contact for patients, both in person and over the phone

Navigate multiple systems and platforms to schedule appointments across various departments

Collect and enter patient demographic, clinical, billing, and insurance information accurately into the system

Schedule patient visits and procedures for multiple hospitals and outpatient centers while following established protocols

Respond to patient questions and concerns and direct them to the appropriate department or location

Maintain clear and professional communication while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment

Provide real-time updates to clinical staff regarding patient status

Collaborate with medical staff and departments to improve scheduling efficiency and patient flow

Multitask across several technology systems to complete scheduling and patient registration functions

Maintain a high level of organization and commitment to patient service
Required Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Strong customer service skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask efficiently

Comfortable working across multiple computer systems and scheduling platforms
Schedule
Multiple shifts are available:

6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
-
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
-
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
