Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Emergency Department Registrar responsible for checking in patients, verifying demographic and insurance information, and performing pre-collections. The role involves working primarily in the emergency department (ED) environment, both at the front desk and in a mobile capacity throughout the ED.
Key Responsibilities
- Check-in patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
- Conduct pre-collections on the front end.
- Rotate responsibilities between admitting and registration at the desk and bedside.
- Provide registration services for scheduled and walk-in patients in various hospital settings.
- Assist patients from care presentation to clinical staff hand-off.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance processes.
- Experience in full registration tasks.
- Comfortable in patient-facing roles.
- Strong customer service background.

Additional Requirements
Shift hours are from 10:30pm to 6:30am, with days off on Tuesday and Wednesday.
