Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Emergency Department Registrar responsible for checking in patients, verifying demographic and insurance information, and performing pre-collections. The role involves working primarily in the emergency department (ED) environment, both at the front desk and in a mobile capacity throughout the ED.

Key Responsibilities

• Check-in patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Conduct pre-collections on the front end.
• Rotate responsibilities between admitting and registration at the desk and bedside.
• Provide registration services for scheduled and walk-in patients in various hospital settings.
• Assist patients from care presentation to clinical staff hand-off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance processes.
• Experience in full registration tasks.
• Comfortable in patient-facing roles.
• Strong customer service background.

Skills

• Insurance knowledge.

• Preferred: ED registration and EPIC experience.

Additional Requirements

Shift hours are from 10:30pm to 6:30am, with days off on Tuesday and Wednesday.
