Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Aesthetician to perform laser treatments for aesthetic procedures. The role involves conducting client consultations, assessing treatment suitability, and developing individualized treatment plans while ensuring equipment safety and client comfort. This position requires effective client-focused communication and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laser treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Conduct client consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate clients on treatment expectations, including pre-treatment preparation and post-treatment care.
- Ensure the safe operation of laser equipment and adjust settings as needed during procedures.
- Maintain accurate client documentation and adhere to infection control guidelines.
- Maintain treatment rooms and equipment to ensure a compliant clinical environment.
- Respond appropriately to adverse skin reactions or complications.
- Build positive client relationships and discuss treatment plans and options.
Qualifications:
- Active NY RN license.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for training when needed.
- Effective client-focused communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong wrist dexterity and strength to operate equipment and assess clients’ skin.
- Ability to meet all employment eligibility requirements.
Skills:
- Experience in operating lasers.
- Ability to communicate friendly manner.
Locations: hiring for standalone offices in Midtown and Lower Manhattan. Job would not require floating between locations
Available Shift Schedules: Mon-Fri or Tuesday-Satursday daytime shifts
