Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant proficient in English and Spanish. This role involves providing patient care, administering medications, documenting clinical information, and collaborating with healthcare professionals within an ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform basic procedures such as lab draws and ECGs.
• Document patient encounters and manage clinical records accurately.
• Complete prior authorizations and monitor referrals and diagnostic results.
• Assist and support licensed providers during examinations and procedures.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and infection control standards are met.
• Engage in professional collaboration and communication during daily operations.
• Provide emergency response and additional duties within scope as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved high school or GED equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS equivalent.
• Multi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Availability for all shifts, including evenings and weekends, is preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience within Federally Qualified Health Centers is preferred.
• Medical assistant certificate or Certified Medical Assistant Certificate is strongly preferred.
