Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Director of Information Technology responsible for leading modernization initiatives, managing vendor relationships, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and driving strategic technology leadership. The role emphasizes building scalable infrastructure and systems to support a growing healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead modernization of clinic hardware, networking, and core systems to improve reliability and performance.
- Design and implement scalable IT solutions to support a growing multi-site healthcare organization.
- Drive initiatives such as deploying a centralized VoIP phone system and consolidating platforms for efficiency.
- Identify, select, and manage outsourced IT service providers, ensuring accountability to performance standards.
- Lead vendor rationalization to simplify the technology ecosystem and reduce costs.
- Establish cybersecurity protocols and incident response plans to protect data.
- Manage EMR Manager and Specialist in consolidating clinics onto a unified EMR platform.
- Oversee IT projects from concept through execution, focusing on speed, scalability, and value creation.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to design workflows leveraging technology for efficiency.
- Partner with CEO and leadership to define a technology roadmap supporting growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
- 8+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-site services environment.
- Demonstrated success in building or modernizing IT infrastructure and implementing enterprise systems.
- Experience managing outsourced IT providers and leading vendor consolidation efforts.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems preferred.
Skills
- Expertise in infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA).
- Hands-on project management skills with a track record of delivering large-scale IT initiatives.
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: able to build, execute, and scale in a fast-growth environment.
Additional Requirements
- Some travel to client sites will be required.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
